MaxAir Kitchen Composter. Kitchen composting bin. Use with kitchen compost bags like Biobag.

•  Angie and Tiffany (Co Owners to Karmafarm Online) met with the Biobag folks, we were super skepitcal about the smell factor of a composter with a loose lid. The lid has two hindged positions to easily dispose of kitchen food scraps. Design keeps air flowing through the bucket to prevent bacteria growth, odors and fruit flies.
• Line with a 3-gal. compostable BioBag (sold seperate). When full, take the bag to your compost bin where it will fully compost in 30-90 days.
• BIG TIP: dont throw HOT coffee grinds in first. The bag will start to break down much sooner, and by the time you take it out the next week, the bottom has started to breakdown, which can break open! If you need to throw hot grinds in first, you can easily place a small piece of folded newspaper into the bottom of the bag when new and you'll never worry about the heat factor of anything. (It only happened once. Enjoy the composter and we would love to hear your feeback).
